Time back. Most trips begin with a rabbit hole of browser tabs, conflicting reviews, and no clear answer. I handle all of it — so you don't have to.
Access you can't get on your own. Through my preferred partner network, my clients arrive already known — with upgrades, exclusive perks, and VIP treatment that simply isn't available to book online.
Firsthand knowledge. Every recommendation is grounded in personal experience and carefully vetted relationships — not recycled lists or sponsored content.
A limited number of clients by design. I work with a limited number of itineraries each month — intentionally. It's the only way to give every trip the attention it deserves.
A genuine advocate. From first inquiry to final day, I'm in your corner — anticipating issues before they arise and handling them if they do.
Ideally 6–8 months ahead — this gives us the best access to top properties, private experiences, and preferred rates. For safaris, polar expeditions, or trips requiring specific seasonal timing, I recommend 12+ months to ensure availability.
That said, last-minute trips do happen and I'm happy to help. A $150 rush fee applies for bookings made less than 60 days before departure.
My trip design fee covers the time and expertise that goes into designing your trip — research, partner outreach, itinerary crafting, and ongoing coordination. It also ensures my recommendations are completely unbiased and never influenced by supplier incentives.
Just as importantly, it funds the work behind the work — scouting trips, property visits, and the years of relationship-building with hotels and local experts that translate directly into a better experience for you.

My work lives where exceptional hotels meet deeply personal travel. Properties like Rosewood, Belmond, Auberge, and Four Seasons are the foundation — but never the whole story.
My clients tend to travel slowly and intentionally — with private guides, meaningful experiences, and an itinerary that feels shaped around them rather than pulled from a list.
For a week to 10-day trip, most clients invest a minimum of $15,000, depending on destination, group size, and travel style.
Yes. I work with multi-generational families, wedding room blocks, incentive trips, and a limited number of corporate retreats and wellness groups. Not sure if I'm the right fit for your group? Reach out - I'd love to learn more.
Through my preferred partner network, every reservation comes with exclusive amenities — complimentary breakfast, room upgrades, resort credits, and early check-in/late checkout where available. On a three-night stay, these perks can easily represent $1,000 or more in added value, at no extra cost to you.
Fora Travel is the host agency that powers Sarah Eppler Travel's backend operations — handling booking, IATA accreditation, and supplier relationships and payments so I can focus entirely on your travel experience.
No, and it's a policy designed to protect you. With those platforms, there's no reliable way to verify property condition, and there's very limited recourse if something goes wrong, including a last-minute cancellation by the owner. I'm not willing to put my clients in that position.
That said, I do work with trusted partners who offer professionally managed villa and home rentals, often with added touches like concierge service or a personal chef.
Yes — my flight desk books business class and above for domestic travel, and premium economy and above for international. A $50 per person non-refundable ticketing fee applies at the time of booking.
All flight bookings also include access to 24/7 emergency support — so if anything shifts while you're traveling, help is always a call away.
If you're working with me on a Vacation Planning or Full-Service package, yes — hotel bookings need to go through me, and here's why it matters to you.
When I hold the reservation, I'm the named contact at the property. That's what allows me to coordinate everything behind the scenes: spa and restaurant reservations, airport transfers, dietary accommodations, room preferences, and any special touches before you arrive. It's also how I'm able to apply your preferred partner amenities — complimentary breakfast, room upgrades, resort credits, and early check-in or late checkout where available. Without that connection, those perks disappear and I'm working with one hand tied.
This is also how my VIP Hotel Only Bookings remains complimentary — hotel commissions are a core part of how independent travel advisors are compensated.
We're happy to include your hotel loyalty numbers when making reservations; however, I’m unable to book hotels using your loyalty points directly.
“Sarah was a true joy to work with! We provided the areas we wanted to visit in Italy and some rough ideas on what we wanted to see and do. From that limited info, Sarah was able to create an experience that far exceeded our expectations. Sarah took care of the smallest of details which allowed us to enjoy a stress-free and wonderful vacation. I would highly recommend Sarah as an outstanding partner to help create your special travel experience.”
“Sarah made everything so easy. We had an issue with our room and did not want to make a big fuss - Sarah called the resort on our behalf and we had a new room that night. I will be working with her for all of my future travel.”
“Though initially skeptical of using a travel advisor, Sarah's help in planning a two-week European trip changed our mind. Her recommendations for hotels, restaurants, guided tours, and things to do were amazing and personalized just for our preferences and taste. And she was super responsive throughout the trip to help troubleshoot any challenges or last-minute changes. We could not have had such a special anniversary trip without Sarah’s help.”
